Meet Leo DeLaTorre, a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in the towing industry. Leo operates FB-18, a deep blue Freightliner M2 affectionately known as "Papa Smurf." With a love for classic trucks, Leo brings a passion for towing and hauling all kinds of vehicles, appreciating each job equally.
Starting his career in towing after being approached by a tow operator while working on cars, Leo has spent the past 3.5 years with SAS Towing and Recovery, following a 17-year tenure at Cedar Park Wrecker Service. He values the high caliber of drivers he works alongside at SAS, as well as the entire team—from office staff to mechanics. For Leo, this close-knit group of professionals is what truly sets SAS apart in the industry.
Outside of work, Leo enjoys buying and selling cars, a hobby that reflects his deep-rooted passion for vehicles. His best piece of advice? Place a chain in the right position, and you can get a vehicle out of nearly any tough spot. Leo's expertise and commitment to the craft make him a trusted and respected member of the SAS.

Will Hale, Wheel Lift Driver
With 10 years in the towing industry and two years at SAS Towing and Recovery Inc., Will Hale is a skilled operator known for his expertise in on- and off-road recoveries. Operating a red 2022 Dodge 5500 equipped with an Autoloader (Unit C-24) and 4-wheel drive, Will is well-prepared for challenging recoveries. His favorite tows have always been exotic cars, and he takes pride in helping people out of difficult situations.
Will's journey into towing began when a friend encouraged him to try it out, sparking a passion that has driven his career ever since. Outside of work, Will enjoys fast cars and video games. His best advice, “Slow down and enjoy life. We only get one to live!” reflects his belief in making the most of each moment.

Cody Vance operates a 2024 International MV607 Flatbed wrecker at SAS Towing and Recovery Inc., where he’s been a valuable part of the team for a year and a half. With a passion for towing classic cars and trucks, Cody takes pride in being able to work alongside his family while contributing to a company that’s setting a new standard in the area. Known for delivering quality service in a timely manner, SAS Towing is committed to lifting customers’ spirits—even on their toughest days.
Cody’s journey into the towing industry began when he decided to switch from welding and reached out to his father-in-law for an opportunity with SAS. His favorite part of the job is the team-oriented environment, and he values being part of a company that focuses on both professionalism and compassion. Cody also enjoys building things, spending time with friends and family, and he lives by the advice, “Take chances because you’ll miss 100% of the chances you don’t take.”

Rich Price operates SAS Towing's trusted FB-22, fondly known in the company as the "Baby Truck." With a passion for hauling, Rich is dedicated full-time to transporting United States Postal Service vehicles across Central Texas. His commitment to safety and customer care makes him an invaluable part of the SAS team. Rich brings two years of industry experience, all with SAS Towing, and what he loves most is helping people when they need it most, as well as tackling in-depth recovery operations.
Rich's journey into towing began after years of hauling construction equipment across the lower 48 states. Looking for a change that would keep him closer to home, he found the perfect fit with SAS, where he could still put his Class A Commercial Driver’s License to good use. When he's not working, Rich enjoys anything related to American automotive racing. The best advice he’s ever received? "Don’t put your fingers there!" It’s a motto he lives by both on the road and off.

Brittaney is assigned to and drives unit FB-29 daily—a striking 2025 Freightliner M2 flatbed wrecker in red. In her seven months with SAS, she has developed a passion for hauling old classic cars and project cars, appreciating the unique care these vehicles require.
Though relatively new to the towing industry, Brittaney already feels deeply connected to SAS Towing’s mission. She believes the company stands out because of its commitment to exceeding customer service expectations and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. Her favorite part of the job? Seeing the relief and smiles on customers’ faces, knowing they’re in good hands.
Brittaney’s love for towing runs in the family—she was inspired by her dad to enter the field. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, outdoor adventures, and, of course, towing! A piece of advice she lives by is simple but impactful: "Treat people the way you want to be treated."

Adam Alobaidi, Flatbed Operator
Adam Alobaidi has been with SAS Towing and Recovery Inc. for two years, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his 12-year career in the towing industry. He operates a 2019 Kenworth T270 Flatbed, affectionately known as "Foghorn." Adam approaches every tow as a unique challenge, finding satisfaction in each project rather than having a single favorite. His true reward is hearing the heartfelt gratitude from those he assists, especially when they tell him, “You’re a lifesaver!” Knowing he's made a difference when people need help the most is what drives his passion for his work.
For Adam, SAS Towing stands out because of one core value: teamwork. He believes the company’s commitment to collaboration and mutual support sets it apart from others in the industry. Adam’s journey into towing began when a friend suggested he’d be great in a tow truck. Taking that advice, he gave it a shot and quickly found his calling.
Outside of work, Adam loves playing soccer and cheering on his son at his own games. His favorite piece of advice, which he applies both on the job and in life, is: “If you’re going to make a living, make it honestly—because that’s the kind of wealth that lasts.”
Ruben Azua has been part of the SAS Towing and Recovery team for nearly six months. Operating primarily in the MD-1 carrier, Ruben is the go-to driver for hauling all kinds of equipment, from connex boxes and toolboxes to motorcycles and classic cars. He finds a special pride in transporting these items, knowing the care and precision they demand.
Ruben's favorite part of his job is the high caliber of drivers he gets to work with daily. With four years of industry experience under his belt, Ruben's journey into towing and hauling began with a dream of operating larger trucks. Though he initially ventured into over-the-road driving, he ultimately returned to towing, a field he’s passionate about, and he’s here to stay.
For Ruben, SAS Towing stands out from other companies because of its family-oriented atmosphere and flexibility with scheduling, which supports both personal and professional needs. He values the company's commitment to maintaining its fleet, which ensures safety and efficiency for all drivers.

Jaelyn operates a Red Freightliner M2 Flatbed, known as FB-20, at SAS Towing and Recovery Inc. With 6 months of experience, Jaelyn enjoys helping people and contributing to the community through his work.
His favorite type of job is anything that doesn’t involve electric vehicles, and he appreciates SAS’s dedication to efficiency, reliability, and safety, which sets the company apart from others. Outside of towing, Jaelyn is an avid outdoorsman who loves fishing, hunting, and refereeing basketball.
He first joined the towing industry after working with SAS’s Lometa team through the Fire Department, embracing towing as an exciting new challenge. Jaelyn’s guiding principle is, “In all that you do, safety comes first.
